Spring Salad Supper

"For the Beauty of the Earth" is a potluck salad meal shared with women and girls of the surrounding area, followed by a meditation on God's creation through a floral design workshop by designer, Rebecca Schrag, using local flowers collected by participants and Firebranch Farm (Goessel, KS).

About The Event

Participants will bring a salad to share for the potluck meal. Table service is provided.

Participants will bring a small vessel (shallow bowl or tea cup sized) to design with. Each participant will be provided a floral pin frog to use to hold their flowers. Flowers will be provided by Firebranch Farm, and additionally, participants are asked to bring several cuttings, if they have some, from their gardens to share at their tables. Please also bring a garden or kitchen shears if you have one.

About Rebecca Schrag--


Rebecca is a floral desgigner in Kansas City, MO. She regularly designs with a Kenzan, or a floral frog, to create whimsical garden style arrangements using seasonal flowers. Rebecca is on the Executive Committee of Western District Women in Mission.
